Parlors offer an ample selection of Kokolato’s vegan desserts that you can’t get anywhere else, along with specialty cakes, baked goods, and stylish sophisticated drink options.

We’re committed to making courageously healthy vegan desserts that taste better then dairy alternatives. We only use non-GMO ingredients and do our best to source ingredients from organizations with high standards for sustainability and local impact.

Are socially conscious and active in their community.
Are passionate about the social impact of our product.
Have at least two years of food business management experience.
Understand this is a full time endeavor and will take serious effort to launch.
Are systems-oriented and excited to join an international team of experts.
Have the ability to recruit, train, and motivate staff, according to our standards.
Have a competitive drive and are committed to succeed with realistic expectations.
Demonstrate honesty, integrity and humility and are a team player.
Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and are fluent in English.
Know how to use a computer and apply technology.
Have a college degree or higher (preferred).
Have a strong credit history and a minimum net worth of $350,000 with $100,000 in liquidity (cash and securities, not including retirement accounts).
Have a good sense of humor!
The start-up costs of opening a Kokolato Parlor will vary depending on where, when and what you’ve decided to open. We’ll talk you through all of the things that can affect your start-up costs in detail later. But for now, here’s a rough idea of the costs, including the franchise fee.
Full-Size Shop (approximately 750 to 1200 sq. ft.) $200,000 to $450,000
In-Line Scoop Shop (approximately 450 to 650 sq. ft.) $175,000 to $300,000
Kiosk (approximately 100 to 200 sq. ft.) $120,000 to $250,000
Three months operating expenses (estimate): $75,000
Franchise Fee - $30,000 (traditional); $20,000 (special venue)
Royalty - 3%
International Marketing - 2%
Local Marketing Commitment - 2%
